UCB Scheme is a modified version of STk 4.0.1 by Erick Gallesio.

The UCB Scheme sources here were modified for EECS classes and were last compiled in 2008.
Scheme is no longer used by EECS classes and this content is no longer supported by UC Berkeley.

UCB Scheme has unique extensions for our Lower Division programming courses.
The Berkeley extensions are described in "stk-explorin vs. stk-simply".

Berkeley EECS did not invent the STk interpreter - we just modified an old
copy to work with our CS courses.   In fact, the development of the STk
sources has progressed beyond our version.
