Subject: On-line access to Math journals available

We now have unlimited access to MathSciNet, the AMS's online version of
Mathematical Reviews, from any Berkeley IP address or the home IP address.
No password or user ID is required. 

This subscription entitles us to:

	a. make searches of MathSciNet

	b. make one or more copies in hard copy form of the output of any 
	search; such copies may not be sold and may not be distributed to 
	anyone who is not an authorized user; and

	c. download search results to hard disk or diskette, provided 
	that such data is not made available to anyone who is not an 
	authorized user.

According to the terms of our contract, an authorized user may not make
MathSciNet available to anyone other than another authorized user, whether
by telephone link or by permitting access through his or her terminal or
computer, or by other similar or dissimilar means or arrangements. 

If you are unclear about the scope of our license or would like to see a 
copy of our subscription agreement, please see me in the library.

I have a supply of AMS's "Quick Start Card", a 5.5" x 8.5" (very brief)
instruction guide for getting started on MathSciNet. Send me e-mail if you
