WEB Server for all Instructional Users

  EECS Instruction runs a Apache WEB server for class and student WEB sites at 

     http://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu 
     https://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu 	 (secure SSL site)

  This server runs on a UNIX (Solaris X86) computer.  WEB pages are read from 
  the home directories of the users' Instructional UNIX accounts.  Features of 
  this server are described under

WEB Servers for Specific Classes

  WEB servers are also provided for specific classes when needed.
  These have included
    
     pentagon.cs.berkeley.edu for CS184 (Apache on UNIX)
     rhombus.cs.berkeley.edu for CS186 (Apache on UNIX)
     inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/~cad for CAD tools (Apache on UNIX) 
     scotland.cs.berkeley.edu for CS169 (Microsoft IIS on Windows)
