University of California at Berkeley Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences Instructional Support Group /share/b/pub/final-cut-pro.help Sep 26, 2006 Final Cut Pro ------------- Final Cut Pro is a video editing program from Apple. It is installed on the Macs in 349 Soda. Users are prompted to select a scratch space the first time they start Final Cut Pro, and they can edit that later from the FCP System Preferences menu. You should select the "macosusers" disk and create a new folder on it that has the same name as your user name. The scratch space needs to be on a local disk and not a network disk like your home directory. This is to for faster response times and to avoid filling the disk quota if your UNIX home directory.
