Flexus (http://www.ece.cmu.edu/~simflex/) is a set of tools that run with Simics to simulate multiprocessor systems running unmodified operating systems and applications. These programs wee installed for CS152 students in Spring 2010 on Linux computers in 125 Cory. Now, it may run on these Centos servers: hpse-9.eecs.berkeley.edu ... hpse-15.eecs.berkeley.edu The program is in /share/instsww/pkg/virtutech/simics-3.0.30/bin/simics All users with Instructional UNIX accounts can 'ssh' into those servers (http://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/~inst/newusers.html). Installation Notes ------------------ Simics requires GCC 4.1.2/GLIBC 2.5-18 to compile. Licenses -------- Simics has free academic licenses, and Flexus is free.
