National Instruments Products for EECS Classes
-----------------------------------------------
  Several circuit design, control and test software products from National
  Instruments (http://www.ni.com) are available to EECS classes in several 
  EECS computer labs.

  LabVIEW and MultiSim are installed on the Windows terminal servers and 
  in 105, 125, 117, 140, 218, 204, and 246 Cory.

  The Windows terminal servers can be listed under
  http://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/connecting.html#labs

  LabVIEW releases a new version and 2 service packs every year.   For the
  latest information, please see the NI Academic Software Site:
  http://us.ni.com/academic/software

Licenses
--------
  Licenses for these products are served from an instructional license server 
  for university-owned EECS computers. 

  August 2015: the University has purchased licenses and training from NI that 
  includes stand-alone licenses for university-owned and student-owned 
  computers.  Please see https://software.berkeley.edu/labview for information.
  
LabView for home computers
--------------------------
  LabVIEW can be downladed from the National Instruments (http://www.ni.com) 
  and from https://software.berkeley.edu/labview (CalNet login required).

MultiSim, Ultiboard, Electronics Workbench
------------------------------------------

  MultiSim and Ultiboard are now a part of Circuit Design Software 13.0.
  Electronics Workbench is obsolete.
