University of California at Berkeley Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences Instructional Support Group /share/b/pub/quanser.help /share/b/pub/quarc.help Sep 30 2015 CONTENTS QuaRC on EECS Instructional Computers QuaRC Licenses QuARC on EECS Instructional Computers ------------------------------------- QuaRC from Quanser (http://www.quanser.com) is a software suite for Windows that integrates with Simulink for rapid controls prototyping and hardware- in-the-loop testing. It generates soft real-time code, with performance parameters sufficient for use with most of Quanser educational experiments. QuaRC is installed on 6 Windows PCs in 204 Cory for use by EE128, including 125-27, 125-30, 125-32, 125-33 QuaRC Licenses -------------- The license server runs on workstation 125-32 in 125 Cory. If that is down, users on the other PCs get a "license expired" error. QuaRC licenses were originally obtained by Ferenc Kovac in 2008 and have been renewed by Katherina Law.
