EECS Instruction has established a line of credit there that is only for use by students in EECS classes. EECS students can download SSUPREM3 onto their own computers from http://www.eecad.com. They are allowed to use "eecsinst" account to fund their use of SSUPREM3 as long as they are using it for EECS coursework. Others users can establish their own lines of credit by creating an account and providing a credit card number; see http://www.eecad.com for details. Silvaco VWF Tools ----------------- Our licenses for the Silvaco Virtual Wafer Fab (VWF) tools expired in April 1999. We did not renew this software because it was no longer being used. The latest version had been installed on parker.eecs in November 1995. Other CAD Tools --------------- For references to other CAD tools that are available on EECS Instructional computers, please see http://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/~cad http://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/software http://www.silvaco.com and /share/b/pub/cad.help Stanford University still provides suprem3 from http://www-tcad.stanford.edu/, but it is unsupported.
