WHERE DID YOU GROW UP? WHAT WAS YOUR PATH TO CAL? I grew up in the Heart of Silicon Valley that is San Jose, California. I went to Santa Clara High School. I am currently a senior EEP major (Environmental Economics & Policy). HOW MUCH PROGRAMMING HAVE YOU DONE (& WHAT LANGUAGES)? I took CS10 in Fall 2011 and have went through the 61 series (A, B, & C). So I have experience in BYOB/SNAP, Python, Scheme, Java, and C. I will be learning R this semester for Stat 131A. WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES? I love to game, watch anime, read manga, and photography. I also like to watch hockey (Go Sharks!) and hang with my friends. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR TALENTS & SKILLS? I'm pretty good at troubleshooting computers in general since I have interned at Synopsys' IT department the last two summers. The best talent I have is probably my willingness to help. I love and enjoy helping my friends and peers to find solutions to different problems and issues. HAVE YOU DONE ANYTHING REMARKABLE? HAS ANYTHING MEMORABLE HAPPENED TO YOU? I met Bill Nye the Science Guy while volunteering at the Tech Museum in San Jose and got a photo of him and me. He's a really nice person and definitely willing to talk and meet fans who watched his videos in elementary and middle school. WHAT COMMITMENTS WILL BE CONSUMING YOUR CYCLES THIS SEMESTER? I'm taking EEP C175 (Economics of Climate Change), ENE,RES C100 (Energy and Society), UGBA 196 (Personal Finance), and STAT 131A. In addition, I'll be lab assisting for a couple sections.
