Hi all! I am a 4th-year EECS major from Chennai, India. Apart from 188, I have also TA’d 170 and 70 in the past. I’m interested in learning how to improve educational outcomes, particular in CS. In my free time, I enjoy reading about history and languages, and walking to the Big C.

I’m a second year PhD student working on deep reinforcement learning, focusing on robustness and preference learning. In my spare time I enjoy reading, cycling and running.

Hello! I’m a senior (sigh) interested in AI Safety, ethics and philosophy, currently doing research with CHAI on human-agent cooperation. I’m originally from Italy, and in my free time I love to bike, listen to far too much music, and watch movies.

I am a 2nd year Ph.D. student advised by Sergey Levine and Tom Griffiths. I am interested in understanding and building machines that generalize as humans do. I have recently been exploring problems related to learners with compositional representations and computations. The goal is to work towards building agents that design and update their own languages for modeling the world and solving problems. Several influential books for me are Holes, The Little Prince, The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, Plato’s Republic, and Gödel, Escher Bach. I want to understand the truth and that’s always been the dream.

Hi everyone! I’m a third year undergrad EECS major from San Jose, CA. I work under Prof. Levine on vision-based robotics and deep reinforcement learning. In my free time, I like to hike, play basketball, read, and fly drones. I’m a first time TA and super excited to teach Intro to AI. Ronghang Hu is a Ph.D. student in computer science at EECS Dept., UC Berkeley, working with Prof. Trevor Darrell. His research interests include visual and linguistic reasoning (image description, expression grounding, question answering, and visual dialog), and visual perception (object detection and segmentation).

I’m a second-year computer science Ph.D. student at the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research Lab, where I have the privilege of being co-advised by Sergey Levine and Anca Dragan. I’m broadly interested in machine learning, robotics, and cognitive science. My research combines human and machine intelligence to solve sequential decision-making problems that neither can on their own.

Hey! I’m a fourth year EECS student. Outside of school activities, I am an avid snacker (ask me about Flamin Hot Fries), only watch bad television, and like to swim. I think CS188 is fun and I hope you enjoy it too!

Hello everyone! I am a third year CS major. I TAed CS188 in Summer 2018, and I am happy to rejoin this semester. My research interest lies in the interesting of computer vision and reinforcement learning. In my free time, I travel to race radio-controlled vehicles at national and international events.
