Prerequisites: CS150.

Labs
The labs will provide hands-on experience with the VLSI tools.
- Lab 1: GCD: VLSI's Hello World
- Lab 2: Write and Synthesize a Two-Stage/Three-Stage RISC-V v2 Processor
- Lab 3: ASIC Implementation of a RISC-V v2 Core with On-Chip Caches
Late Labs Policy
Each student gets a total of four late days they can spend to extend
the lab deadlines for any reason. No other extensions will be given,
unless for serious documented emergencies.
Collaboration Policy
Students are encouraged to discuss solutions to the lab assignments
with other students, but must run the lab themselves and turn in their
own lab report.

Compute Resources
Every student needs an account for these machines. Students will get
access to the revision control system (SVN) only through these accounts.

NX server will be installed on our CAD nodes. NX allows you to have a
fast X session. You can download NX client for your machine (Windows,
Linux, MacOSX, or Solaris) from http://www.nomachine.com/download.php.
After you install the NX client, simply use your inst. account
credentials to login.
