New SGI Indys will be installed in 349 Soda. 111 Cory - Instructional Multimedia Lab --------------------------------------- We are planning to install a variety of equipment in 111 Cory during the Fall 1995 semester. The facility will provide tools for multimedia authoring and experimentation. The facility will be used primarily by CS39A and other courses involved in multimedia authoring. It will be available to individual students for projects if the projects are required for their EECS coursework. Access to the lab will be subject to approval from the instructor and the manager of EECS Instructional Support. This is still in the planning stages. More information will be posted outside of 111 Cory as it becomes available. This is intended for students in the CS9* series self-paced courses. Computer accounts for CS self-paced classes are distributed in 345 Davis. Webworm is the file server for a cluster of Sparc workstations in 349 Davis. The cluster is maintained by the Workstation Support Services of the central campus computing services.
