Depth of Field
-More depth of field when you focus far/shallow when close
-Increase f/stop for more detailed depth of Field
-Amount of depth of field is not always the same in front of the subject in focus and behind it (middle of focus for more depth of field)
-the problem with a bigger f/stop is you can't see the actual depth of field you'll end up with (less)
-"hyper focal distance": far focus distance/everything behind subject is in distance (infinity setting = not as much depth of Field
-Zoom in on subject = compressed image
-Moving closer = more room in image
