    1. After playing with the lens baby at lunch, we started focusing on the ?view camera?
      1. Enables perspective correction and skewed plane-of-sharp-focus
      2. Has f-stops and aperture within the lens, unlike the lens baby
      3. Lens baby: http://www.lensbabies.com/index.php
      4. View Camera: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/View_camera
    1. Question: Why would you want to use lenses or cameras such as the lens baby or the view camera?
    1. Deep: of the multiple rays of light that bounce off of the object in view, only one can enter the aperture when aperture is small, thus the object in view is in sharp focus
    1. Shallow: many rays of light bounce off of an object and can enter into the lens when the aperture is large.
    2. Depth of field does not occur symmetrically
    1. If you focus towards the distance, there is a magical number (a certain distance) at which everything within the camera?s view is in focus.
    1. Hyperfocal distance: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperfocal_distance
    1. If you take the photo of some objects and tilt the camera relative to the object, you have created perspective
    1. Architectural photography attempts to keep the image plane/sensor parallel to the object?s plane, thus it does not tilt.
    1. Architectural photos
      1. Take photos of architectural lines, objects, shapes: parallel, vertical, horizontal, etc.
      2. Add perspective into the photo
