The book uses the excellent "washing/drying clothes" analogy to explain pipelines and the three common hazards. Describe another analogy in which pipelines are useful and explain what the three hazards are in that domain. Aim for an analogy as far from clothes (and computers) as possible -- think outside the box.
What does it mean to flush the pipeline? What is an example of a time this would need to happen?
Explain a step or two that can be taken to reduce the delays caused by branches.
