/============\ | Homework 0 | \============/ Name: Sung Roa Yoon Login: cs61c-tc E-mail: sungroa@berkeley.edu Sections: 11, 12 Mini-Biography: ============== --> Where did you grow up? What was your academic path? (e.g. Did you live in the same town all your life or did you move around; and if so, where? Did you go to community college or another school before this one?) I was born in Korea, lived in there until second grade, when I visited New Zealand for a semester. At around the end of elementary school, I moved to Florida, and went through middle school there, and once I was done with that, I moved to Arizona and went through high school there. Now I live in LA and go to school in UC Berkeley. --> How much programming have you done (and what languages)? I actually did not do too much programming before Cal, and learned most things from scratch here. The only significant programming I did was on my TI-89, where I made a simple text-based game. I know a handful of languages, the basic that you learn from the 61 series, as well as HTML and javascript. I also did a decent amount of bash scripts thanks to being a TA for this class. Basically, I know C, Java, Python, Scheme, HTML, javascript, BASH shell, and C++, at least to a certain extent. --> What are your hobbies? I like playing MMO Games as well as Board Games, and I also enjoy doing Archery and Juggling. --> What are some of your talents and skills? I am excellent at making a fool of myself! I'm also decently proficient at minor things like scrabble, juggling, and other various entertainment! --> Have you done anything remarkable? Has anything really memorable happened to you? (e.g. travel, meeting famous people, 15 min of fame, inventions, overcoming adversity, etc.) I met the world champion rubix cube solver! And I'm friend with national scrabble champion! I seem to meet a lot of giants who are magnificent in what they have done... It's always amazing and fun to meet such people! --> What commitments will be consuming your cycles this term? (e.g. classes, jobs, family, commutes, volunteering, sports, student groups, etc.) TA'ing for 61c will probably take a majority of my time, and I hope to also do well on my own classes. Hopefully I will get into the graduate schools I applied to!
