\===============================/
WHERE DID YOU GROW UP? WHAT WAS YOUR ACADEMIC PATH?

I was born in New Delhi, India and have moved around a lot since then. In all,
I've lived in 16 different homes on three different continents. However, for
the last four years, and the foreseeable future, Berkeley has been my home.

Academically, I went to High School in New Jersey, and just graduated from
Berkeley with a B.S. in EECS and a minor in Education.

HOW MUCH PROGRAMMING HAVE YOU DONE (& WHAT LANGUAGES)?

Started with C++ (which was an AWFUL way to start, btw) in high school and then
dabbled with PHP (just when you thought it couldn't get worse...). Then I was
enlightened by Python and also learned Java. In college, I picked up some
functional languages and got much more practice with C while TA'ing CS61C.

Currently, I'm most comfortable with Java (Android in particular, with 5
years of professional experience), Python (for hackathons, interviews and
everything else in between), and C and MIPS (for this class!).

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

Woodworking
Computer Games (EVE Online, Factorio and Witcher 3 are my current faves)
Board Games (Love Agricola, Terra Mystica and Ticket to Ride)
Soccer (Playing, not really following pros)
Homebrewing (Beer, not hacked consoles)
Cheesemaking
And, recently getting into backpacking

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR TALENTS AND SKILLS?

I am a decent cook and I've been told I give some of the best hugs.

HAVE YOU DONE ANYTHING REMARKABLE? HAS ANYTHING MEMORABLE HAPPENED TO YOU?

I have travelled A LOT throughout my life. I've been on TV a few times.

As an undergraduate, I planned and executed all of Cal's Spirit events
including the Big Game Bonfire Rally that drew over 6,000 people to the Greek
Theatre.

WHAT COMMITMENTS WILL BE CONSUMING YOUR CYCLES THIS SEMESTER?
