    General Announcements:
  1. Files on the websites are in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format. You can download the free version of acrobat reader here.


  2. Week of August 08th:
  3. August 11th: Your grades are updated, except for project grades. I am giving you till Friday for correcting HWs 4 through 6 and labs/project grade. I will be in 3 Leconte from 12:00 pm on Friday. I will bring whatever homeworks and lab reports/prelabs that are in lab. 12:30 pm, Friday, 08/12/05 is your last chance to fix those grades (HWs 4 through 6 and labs/project).
  4. August 09th: All homework grades are posted online. Please make sure your homework #4, #5 and #6 grades shown online are correct. You can pick up your homeworks from lab. Regrade deadline for these homeworks (ONLY) is Thursday, 08/11/05 in my office hours.
  5. August 09th: Please make sure you turn in a project report - simply spend 15 minutes and TYPE what you liked about the project and how we can improve it. Turn it into the homework box by 5:00 pm on Thursday, 08/11/05. IF YOU DON'T DO THIS, YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR 10% PROJECT GRADE, EVEN IF YOUR TA CHECKED OFF THE CIRCUIT!


  6. Week of August 1st:
  7. The grade correction deadline for HWs #4, #5 and #6, project and any lab grade is Thursday, 08/11/05. I will be having special office hours that day, look for info on this towards the end of the week. YOU MUST BRING IT TO MY OFFICE HOURS, NO EXCEPTIONS. Please note that the midterm grade correction deadline is 08/03/05 and I won't be accepting any midterm regrades after this.
  8. Shizhi will hold his office hours on Friday in the lab. Please try to finish the project by this weekend (next Tuesday (08/09) at the latest!). You want to use next week for the final and making sure your grades are all correct.


  9. Week of July 18th:
  10. Midterms were handed out in lecture today. If you didn't pick them up, ask your lab TA in lab.
  11. Course Syllabus has changed for the second half of summer. Check the new Second Half Syllabus for details on topics, reading, lab and homework assignments.


  12. Week of June 20th:
  13. I will pretty much be using the newsgroup on Google groups for announcements/homework hints/office hour changes etc. from now on. Please register on the newsgroup ASAP. I will use the EE100 website mainly to post documents like lecture notes.
  14. For Wednesday lecture, please read all of chapter 1 and sections 2.1 through 2.3 (inclusive). I will post messages like these on our newsgroup on Google Groups from now on. Please get into the newsgroup by end of today (Monday). I will approve memberships late tonight or early tomorrow, so please do not email me before then.


  15. Week of June 13th:
  16. Welcome to EE 100! Please keep checking the EE100 homepage periodically for important announcements, problem set solutions etc.
  17. THOROUGHLY READ the General Course Information which can be found under the Handouts webpage.
  18. There is NO LAB the first week of classes. LABS FOR EE100 START ON Monday, June 27th 2005 (second week of class). Labs for EE100 will be held in 140 Cory hall. There IS DISCUSSION the first week of classes. Look at the Schedule Matrix to figure out when/where the discussions are.
  19. We have cancelled the Wednesday morning lab, Friday morning lab and the Thursday afternoon discussion because of low enrollment. Students in these sections should switch to other sections, you can switch to any other section you want.
  20. Please make sure your submitted HW is READABLE. If it isn't, Justin WILL NOT grade it.
