Course Description

This course is intended for graduate students interested in research on networking. We assume that the students have taken an introductory course on networks at the level of EECS122.  They should understand the basic protocols of Ethernet and Internet.  We will explore a few topics in depth:

*  Economics of networks

*  802.11 wireless LANs (Wi-Fi)

*  Wireless sensor networks

*  Traffic models

The course consists of tutorial lectures and discussions of key research papers.    

Grading

*  In-Class Presentations (65%)

*  Project (35%)
