1) Problem 6 of HW #8. You only have to do the 3-member council problem and don’t have to do the five-member council problem.

Midterm #2 will be on Nov 5 (Thursday). It will be an 80-minute closed book exam. Topics in HW 1-8 will be covered although emphasis will be on HW 4-8. You can bring two 8.5x11” sheets of notes and a calculator. The exam checklist can be downloaded here.

Exam will start promptly at 9:30am.
