STk: UC Berkeley's version of STk for Windows
Installing:
Unpack STkWin32.zip
to C:\Program Files\.
(You can use Info-ZIP to do this.)
This will create a folder called C:\Program Files\STk.
You cannot install it elsewhere, because the program depends on
being in this location
To add STk to your Start menu:
Go to C:\Program Files\STk\MS-Win32 and double-click
on AddStart.exe; click "OK" when it asks you whether
you want to install STk.
Running: The STk versions for different classes are installed in the Start/Programs/UCB Scheme menu. The STk versions are:
| stk-explorin | loads all UCB Scheme procedures including explorin.scm, for CS3S |
| stk-simply | loads all UCB Scheme procedures including simply.scm, for CS3 and CS61A |
| stk | loads no UCB Scheme procedures, for CS9D and CS47B |
