MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provide engineering services to faculty members and investigators
for instructional laboratories and research projects.
+ Design and prepare engineering plans/specifications for novel
audio-visual and multimedia presentation equipment and facilities.
+ Coordinate construction, assembly, and testing of equipment and
facilities.
+ Troubleshoot/repair complex electronics and presentation systems.
Suggest functional and safety improvements in existing custom systems.
+ Keep accurate records of time spent on tasks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Experience in electronics technology sufficient to integrate, modify,
and reconfigure hardware/software components in a computer-controlled
presentation room.
+ Highly developed oral/written communication skills and interpersonal
skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
