Text and Materials
Contemporary Logic Design, by R. Katz is the required text. Digital
Design Principles and Practices, by J. F. Wakerly is also recommended,
but not required. Also recommended is a 1/2 or 3/8 size logic template
for homework and exams.

Miscellaneous Handouts
Labs
Labs are held in 204B Cory Hall. The first lab lecture is on Aug 29. Labs start Tuesday, September 2.
Homework
Problem sets will be due at 5 p.m. Friday in the box outside 204B Cory Hall. Homework handed in after Friday at 5 p.m. but before 5 p.m. on Monday will receive half credit.
Homeworks are stored as postscript files. These can be saved to disk and printed or viewed with a utility such as ghostview. (To use ghostview type "ghostview FILENAME" from the UNIX prompt. For PCs, download a utility like gsview.)
