One of the new simple-stream subclasses introduced in Allegro CL 6.0. Equivalent
to the Gray stream excl::xp-stream. This is the
simple-stream equivalent of the extended-pretty-presenting stream. It
is a subclass of string-output-simple-stream. It encapsulates
its base stream and outputs to that stream only when it knows enough
about where to place output.
