cut-selection

Arguments: window

This function cuts (deletes) selected material, whether text or another object, from a window. It does not place anything on any clipboard. cut-command does what this function does and in addition places the object onto the lisp and Windows clipboards.

This function returns two values: the stream from which the object was cut, and the cut object. Returns nil for no action.
