The goal of this project is to build a pinhole camera, and use a digital camera with long exposure to capture the image in the pinhole camera. To accomplish this, we used a shoebox and lined the inside with black paper, and the screen with white paper. We cut two holes opposite the screen, one for the camera and one for the aperture. We then put duct tape all over the outside of the box to prevent light from getting through anywhere but the aperture.

We used three different aperture sizes: 0.1mm, 3mm, and 5mm.
We tried taking pictures on two separate days. The first day we took the pictures above, which did not turn out as well as the ones we took the second day (see below). This is because the second day was sunnier, and also because we did not realize on the first day that the camera was zoomed in.
