CS 194 Project 4: Face Morphing

Overview

This project has a couple of components to it. The first part is to implement a warping algorithm and turn 2 pictures into a video morph. The second part involves computing the mean face of a population. The third part is to use the mean face and create a caricature of ourself. Finally we have to do at least one bells and whistles option. I chose to morph my friend who is a different gender and is displaying a happy emotion with myself (male gender and displaying serious emotion)

Part 1: George Clooney Transforms to Ani

For this part I used the warping algorithm to transform George Clooney into myself. The resemblance is striking!

Part 2: Computing the Mean Face of a Population

For this part I used a variation of the morphing technique to compute the mean face of a population. You can see the cool result below!

For this part I extrapolated the results from the last part and created a caricature of myself!
