For this project, I took a sequence of photos using a number of fixed primes, as well as a zoom lens, in order to achieve the dolly zoom effect. Personally, it was interesting to see the slightly different qualities of the color optics of the different prime lenses, and the interaction between brightness and focal length even at fixed aperture on the zoom lens.

Experimenting with video dolly zoom
I attempted to also do a video dolly zoom, an experiment that was hampered by the fact that the best I could do in terms of focus was focus-by-wire, since my camera does not have continuous autofocus for video.
