Computing Mid-Way Face

I picked two pictures and I chose corresponding points on each of the pictures that would define the triangulation of the two pictures and affine transformed each halfway and layered them on top of each other. This was the result.

“Mean face” of a population

The mean face was constructed using the same method described above except using 200 portraits and anchor point sets to obtain a nice average view of a group of people.

Caricatures

I used the mean face as a point of reference for what is most average and used the difference between the mean and my face to compute an exaggeration of my face, a caricature.

Double yikes

Bells and Whistles

I attempted to make a gender swapped version of my portrait using the average face of Asian females. The face looks decent and I even managed to preserve the smile.
