In this project, we used image grids captured with Light Field Cameras to do digital re-focusing and aperture size changes after the image was taken. For depth refocusing, changing the distance images moved to align with each other allowed me to shift the focal depth so different objects were in focus. For aperture adjustment, keeping focal depth constant but changing the # of images averaged together mimicked an image taken with a larger aperture (more images) and a smaller aperture (less images).
The 3 different focal depths were created with shift constant = 0, 0.05, and 0.1.
These aperture sizes were created using aperture = 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, and 8.
