Question: Why would
you want to use lenses or cameras such as the lens baby or the view
camera?
Depth-of-field
Deep: of the multiple
rays of light that bounce off of the object in view, only one can enter
the aperture when aperture is small, thus the object in view is in sharp
focus
Shallow: many rays
of light bounce off of an object and can enter into the lens when the
aperture is large.
Depth of field does not
occur symmetrically
Hyperfocal distance:
If you focus towards the
distance, there is a magical number (a certain
distance) at which everything within the camera?s view is in focus.
