Hi there, asphalt is the most recycled material in the world,
with 99% getting recycled amounting to 62 million tons each year.
It's easily recycled because it's a liquid that can be melted out of asphalt roads.
It has a viscosity of 230 billion times higher than water, a measurement made via the longest still
running experiment, which started in 1927, called the pitch drop experiment (it's actually live streamed).
