`To ask may be but a moment's shame, not to ask and remain ignorant is a lifelong shame.` I have a hard time remembering that.

greetings everyone! I'm a 3rd year from the exotic region of SoCal. When not consuming lectures at x2 speed, I like traveling, listening to podcasts, and rewatching stranger things. I'm looking forward to making CS a good experience for you! We're in this together. Guess my favorite data structure.
Jeremy Dong
jeremyd (at) berkeley.edu
Hi there! I'm currently a 3rd year cs major and this is my 2nd time teaching 61b! I tend to sleep a lot but I really enjoy reading whenever I'm awake. Feel free to come talk to me about anything as I'm always down to make new friends! XD
jcdy (at) berkeley.edu
Kumusta! My name's JC, which stands for Joshua Caleb (not Jesus Christ). When I have downtime I like jamming with my ukulele/piano, unreservedly trying all kinds of new foods, hoarding free swag, and spontaneously hanging out with friends. I'm always down to chat about CS, learn something in your native language, or share my favorite places to eat good food! This is my last semester at Cal, and my last semester teaching CS61B, so I whale miss you all. :') 🐳

Jennifer Liu
jennifer1iu (at) berkeley.edu
Hi everyone! I'm a 4th year from Cupertino, CA, and this is my third semester being involved with CS 61B. The two loves of my life are dogs and food, so outside of class you can find me dogspotting or browsing Yelp for new restaurants to try (hmu with recommendations!!). I also like to take naps and can tell you the locations of several nap-friendly couches on campus.
Gi-Gi Lu
gigi.lu (at) berkeley.edu
Hi everyone! I’m Gigi. I’m a fourth year Computer Science major and I enjoy eating dumplings, baking cookies, walking (but not running), and teaching. A quote I'm constantly remind of is, `If it's important enough to you, you will find a way. If it's not, you will find an excuse.` Email me if you have any questions at all!

Greet. My name is Matt Owen and I am a third year EECS major from Maryland. I was once a mechE major, but once I got to Cal I was already set on switching majors. I am enthusiastic about many things, so if you know about things talk to me and I will be excited. Outside of EECSy things some of my favorites are food, nature, math, skateboarding, and music. If you ever need anything reach out to me and I will do my best to help. Hope we have a swell semester!
msit (at) berkeley.edu
HI! I'm a 4th year in BioE & EECS! I really, really enjoy pastel colors (mmm mint, lavender, coral) and Oolong (quite a luscious boba flavor spelled with such a handsome permutation of English letters!). Come find me and we can develop these theories some more! (or we can talk about data structures too I guess heh.)
Karuna Wadhera
kuna (at) berkeley.edu
Hello! I'm a fourth year CS major who started studying CS because of Neopets! I love coffee ice-cream (but don't drink coffee) and watching cooking shows (but I can't actually cook). You can always find me raving about the TV show The West Wing or trying to get my friends to play games with me. When I was in kindergarten, I used to teach an imaginary class on my small whiteboard; six-year-old me and twenty-year-old me are overjoyed to have a real class to teach now. 🙂
jzeitsoff (at) berkeley.edu
Hiya! I'm Josh, and I'm a 4th year CS major from the Bay Area. This will be my 4th time teaching 61B, and I'm super excited to meet you all. You can probably find me baking cookies, head bumping to rap music (Astroworld???), drinking boba, eating a burrito, fencing, at trivia, watching Netflix, or occasionally studying. Feel free to say hi if you see me (:
Sandy Zhang

Hi, I'm Sandy and I am a fourth year Computer Science major from the Bay Area! This is my second semester teaching CS61B, which was not only one of my favorite classes but probably one of the most useful to this day! I like traveling and have a weakness for drinks made of milk and/or tea. Guess where I wrote this description from, and what I was drinking (hint: not milk tea).
ellinzhao (at) berkeley.edu
Hi! I’m Ellin and I’m a third year (accidental) EECS major from San Diego. I like to stay in the bubble of academia, so I am doing research at the Computational Imaging Lab on campus and working remotely for the Institute for Software Research at Carnegie Mellon University. I love listening to music (shoegaze, lo fi, indie rock), watching Wes Anderson movies, and admiring art. I’m excited to meet you all this semester and feel free to contact me if you want to chat!
Christine Zhou

Hello! I'm Adel, a third-year Mathematics and Computer Science student from Union, New Jersey. When I have free time you could probably find me playing soccer, listening to music, playing guitar, chilling with a book, or cooking/eating all types of good food. Also something people tend to find interesting about me is that I'm half Iranian and half Chinese, so if you've met anyone else with that combo please let me know (also if you have any questions too haha). emily.zhong (at) berkeley.edu
Hello friends! I'm a third year computer science major from the Bay Area. Once I wrote an essay comparing trees (the data structure) to Mondrian's tree paintings. My favorite one is Gray Tree from 1911. When I'm not doing that, I enjoy discovering beautiful websites, dabbling in illustrator, playing board games, and dogspotting 👀🐶. Come say hi to me — I love a good conversation!
