Name: William Huang E-mail: william.huang@berkeley.edu Mini-Biography: ============== --> Where did you grow up? What was your academic path? Although born in Ottawa, Canada, I had only two years to enjoy the land of moose, maple syrup, and hockey before coming to California. I've lived in Cupertino for most of my life, from pre-school to the end of high school. Now here I am in Berkeley, studying EECS and repping Canada with my red lanyard. --> How much programming have you done (and what languages)? I had a brief two week summer camp back in high school where I learned Java, as well as AP Comp Sci. Other than that, my programming comes from class projects: Python, Java, Scala, C, Ruby, HTML/CSS, JS, as well as my internships. --> What are your hobbies? What are some of your talents and skills? I enjoy reading and singing, and I've picked up a few tidbits of musical talent along the way, including piano, trumpet, drum kit, bass guitar, and gong (middle school band!). I play a bit of ping pong and foosball too on the side. --> Have you done anything remarkable? Has anything really memorable happened to you? Nothing too amazing. I did have the chance to go to Thailand this past summer with some members of my fellowship here in Berkeley, so that was fun! --> What commitments will be consuming your cycles this term? TAing for 61c, Koinonia, classes, job searching... all the usual stuff.
