Mini-Biography: ============== --> Where did you grow up? What was your academic path? I was born in China and had my middle school and high school in Singapore. Now I am a rising junior majoring in computer science. --> How much programming have you done (and what languages)? I started my college as a chemistry major but I just couldn’t resist the beauty of computer science, so essentially I started programming here at Cal. --> What are your hobbies? When I am not doing CS, I like running. It has really been a struggle to balance between a healthy lifestyle and all the stress in CS life, but I try not to succumb to the sedentary stereotype of CS majors.(fun fact: running is also a hobby of Alan Turing) --> What are some of your talents and skills? I love running and I like to cook for other people, but I guess I am hardly talented in those. --> Have you done anything remarkable? Has anything really memorable happened to you? I ran 210 km within a month for my 21st birthday. I finished San Francisco Half Marathon over the summer. The Golden Gate Bridge part was a grind, but not many people got a chance to run alongside cars on GGB. --> What commitments will be consuming your cycles this term? (e.g. classes, jobs, family, commutes, volunteering, sports, student groups, etc.) Classes and possibly research.
