Mini-Biography: ============== -->Where did you grow up? What was your academic path? I grew up in Virginia (which is actually different from West Virginia) and went to TJHSST for high school there, and then came to Berkeley. I’m a CS major with a focus on systems, although I’d like to explore machine learning. -->How much programming have you done(& what languages)? I worked on satellites at NASA and smartwatches at Fitbit, both in C (because C is the best language). I also know some other languages (java, python, ruby, C++). -->What are your hobbies? I enjoy swimming, reading classic literature, and writing from time to time. --> What are some of your talents and skills? Apparently I can code well, although I like to think of myself as a well-rounded person - I used to do debate and public speaking. --> Have you done anything remarkable? Has anything really memorable happened to you? I went to a White House National Security Council meeting on policy applications of Silicon Valley technology for coping with climate change, which was really cool. --> What commitments will be consuming your cycles this term? I went for a lighter schedule this semester (CS 262A, 189, & 186) so that I can try to dedicate more energy to teaching all of you.
