Mini-Biography: ============== --> Where did you grow up? What was your academic path? (e.g. Did you live in the same town all your life or did you move around; and if so, where? Did you go to community college or another school before this one?) I grew up in a small city in east Los Angeles where the beloved corn men roam and the boba shops abound. My academic path was pretty normal: going to the public schools and taking lots of AP classes. I originally came to Berkeley as an English major but found out that Linguistics and CS were my calling, so now those are my two majors :p --> How much programming have you done (and what languages)? I was first exposed to programming at Berkeley after taking 61A on a whim. Since then, I learned to code in Python, Java, C, and HTML/CSS and will always be up for learning new languages. I have designed a few blogs in my grungy-teenager phase but I try to forget that part of me. --> What are your hobbies? I am an avid and serious cartoon watcher, so if you like Steven Universe, Attack on Titan, Bobs Burgers, or WBB, strike up a conversation with me. I do yoga and archery but not at the same time. I like to jam out on my ukulele. I collect CDs of my favorite artists. --> What are some of your talents and skills? I am a very experienced tea drinker. I am a writer. I can do needle work. I am really good at finishing food ("leftovers" is not in my vocabulary). --> Have you done anything remarkable? Has anything really memorable happened to you? (e.g. travel, meeting famous people, 15 min of fame, inventions, overcoming adversity, etc.) I've written a full length play and am looking to have it produced in the near future. --> What commitments will be consuming your cycles this term? (e.g. classes, jobs, family, commutes, volunteering, sports, student groups, etc.) Classes, Cal Archery, linguistics research, going to concerts, Pokemon Go, and of course, teaching for 61C!
