Mini-Biography:

--> Where did you grow up? What was your academic path?
(e.g. Did you live in the same town all your life or did you move around; and if so, where? Did you go to community college or another school before this one?)

I was born in Cleveland where I lived until age 7, at which point my
family moved to Los Angeles. I'm a third year EECS undergraduate
(option IV), but I've taken so many math classes that last I checked I
need fewer courses to graduate with an applied mathematics degree than
with an EECS degree.


--> How much programming have you done (and what languages)?

I started dabbling with programming in Java towards the end of middle school,
but I didn't start seriously programming it until senior year of high
school. At this point I've been exposed to a number of different
languages. Listed in no particular order: scheme, Java, C, python,
C++, ruby, matlab, C#. I don't claim any exceptional familiarity with
all these languages, but getting back up to speed with any of them
would be relatively painless.


--> What are your hobbies?

I don't have time to do all of these regularly, but I enjoy biking,
rock climbing, ultimate frisbee, and video games.


--> What are some of your talents and skills?

I can eat a lot in one sitting. Sometimes I'll cook up a pound of
pasta and call it dinner.



--> Have you done anything remarkable? Has anything really memorable happened to you?
(e.g. travel, meeting famous people, 15 min of fame, inventions, overcoming adversity, etc.)

I have been both held back a grade, and skipped a grade.



--> What commitments will be consuming your cycles this term?
