Hints:
1. Here is a JPG screen capture of my SPICE schematic for Problem 4.29. You can find the SPICE project sources here.. Copy the entire directory to your hard drive and open the project from PSPICE.
- HW #3: We are skipping mesh-analysis, so here are the new problems: 4.15, 4.16, 4.18, 4.19, 4.25, 4.26, 4.28 and 4.48. DO NOT DO THE PROBLEMS ASSIGNED IN THE COURSE READER, YOU WILL NOT GET CREDIT IF YOU DO! HW 3 Solutions
- HW #4: Skip part (b) of problem 4.58 (mesh analysis).HW 4 Solutions
- HW #5: For problems 4.87, 4.88 you can use any method you like. However, just don't turn in a PSPICE output Also, if some of the integrals from chapter 6 are too calculus heavy, feel free to use a numerical simulation tool like MATLAB.HW 5 Solutions. Chris told me I forgot the solution to problem 4.86. Sorry about that. The answer to part (a) is 0 ohms. If you think about it, the question asks what is the maximum power dissipated in the OTHER resistor, not the variable resistor! Therefore, if Rvariable = 0 ohms, you can easily calculate the power in the other resistor to be 72 W.

- HW #7: In addition to the following op-amp problems from the book: 5.1, 5.3, 5.5, 5.6, 5.9, 5.11, 5.15, 5.19, 5.25, 5.33, please do the following problem: HW7Addon. They are all due on Friday, 04/01/05 @ 1:00 pm. HW 7 Solutions and HW 7 Addon problem solution.
- HW #8: AC analysis has been cancelled, so homework due the week of April 04th is HW #9 on page 329 of the reader.

- HW #11: Homework is due on Friday at the usual time, not Thursday. For problem 2, ignore the terminal of the op-amp going to ground. Assume the op-amp never rails.HW 11 Solutions
