This Week - January 22-26

Discussion Sections: Two-Ports and relating their parameters to their matrix definition. Input and output impedance of circuits with dependent sources and coupling of output back to input. Relating device cross sections and parameters to layout and process flow. Examples of sheet resistance and values of IC resistors from layout.

Laboratories:

Lab section 14 Tu 2-5 has been moved to Th 12:30-5:30 due to staffing availability. Students may enroll in any section but priority goes to students that signed up on TeleBears and to those students displaced by the change in the time of Section 14.

Experiment this week on using the HP device characterization equipment. Prelab must be completed before walking in the door to the lab (else lab penalty point.). Bring a floppy disk and an inexpensive laboratory notebook (such as a Mead Composition book ~$2.00) and number about 30 pages.
