Each student must attend one of these sections.   TA's will review important concepts covered in the lectures, lead the discussion of homework, work through sample problems and present supplementary materials.

  • The first midterm will be held in class on October 4, 2007.
    Students are allowed to bring one sheet of notes to the exam.

  • Homework is now being posted in the private folder only.
    If you need the password, it's posted on the EE130 Google Group. (or just email George)

  • 09/29/2007:
    Please note that Homework 4 is not getting collected. Solutions are posted.
    In addition, solutions to selected MS Contacts problems are posted, for optional
    (but recommended) exam practice (since you have not been given homework on this chapter.)

  • 09/29/2007:
    The questions that will be covered in the 10/4/07 review session have been posted to the private EE130 folder.
    The solutions will not be posted online, so you'll have to attend the review session to get them.

  • 10/5/2007:
    Midterm grades have been posted! Check bSpace.
    Here are the distributions. Mean: 69.3, (66.3 for undergrads, 77.3 for grads)
    Solutions will be gone over in the discussion sections the week of 10/8. They will not be posted online.

  • 10/9/2007:
    The second midterm will be held in class on November 8, 2007.
    Students are allowed to bring 2 sheets of notes to the exam.

  • 11/1/2007:
    The review session for the second midterm is now scheduled for Monday, 11/5 from 6-8PM in Rm. 310 Soda.
    As with last time, choice problems will be gone over which will *hopefully* help you better prepare for the exam.

  • 11/3/2007:
    The questions to be covered in the Midterm 2 Review Session have been posted in the private HW folder.
    You are encouraged to look through these questions before the review session, for practice.

  • 11/9/2007:
    Midterm grades have been posted! Check bSpace.
    Here are the distributions. Mean: 73.5, (70.7 for undergrads, 80.6 for grads)
    Solutions will be gone over in the discussion sections starting 11/9. They will not be posted online.

    The final exam is scheduled for Friday, December 14, from 12:30 - 3:30 PM in Rm. 277 Cory.
    The review will be held on Wednesday, December 12, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM (Rm. 521, Hogan Room).
    Review questions should be available by Saturday.
