To make a symbolic link to the inp directory to the current directory:
ln -s /nfs/home/ff/ee290e/xpdp1/inp ./inp

To run xpdp1 on maxwellep.inp after the symbolic links are made:
./xpdp1 -i inp/maxwellep.inp
