Course Information

The purpose of this laboratory course is to teach students how to use electronic test equipment, to familiarize them with the characteristics of basic circuit elements (resistors, capacitors, inductors and transistors) and to give them experience in building and debugging circuits. Students must successfully complete all of the experiments and the project in order to receiving a passing grade.

This course is intended for students taking EECS 42.  This course can only be taken on a Pass/Fail basis.

Grading:
In order to receive a passing grade in this course, students must: Failure to meet any one of the above requirements will result in a failing grade.

NOTE:  ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY!
Students are required to attend all labs. Missing a single lab will result in an automatic FAIL. If a students misses a lab, s/he may (at the TA's discretion) be given a chance to make up that lab no later than the end of the following week. This will however require substantial effort on the part of the student to ensure that a TA is present when the lab is made up and that the student's regular TA is informed about the make-up lab.
