Exam Info

The midterm will be held in-person on Friday, July 14th, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM PT.

The final will be held in-person on Thursday, August 10th, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM PT.


Final

If you have DSP accommodations or would like to request an adjustment to your exam (such as a left-handed desk, a seat in a specific room, or an alternate exam due to time conflicts), please fill out the final adjustments form by Tuesday, August 8th, 11:59 PM PT. We will respond to all requests submitted before this date by Wednesday, August 9th, 11:59 PM PT.

After this point, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate any adjustment requests, and requests will be reviewed on a rolling basis. However, if you're feeling unwell or there's an emergency, please email cs61c@ directly.

Alternate and Online Exams

If you are also taking Data 100, you will be taking the 61C final at the scheduled time (Thursday, August 10th, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM PT), and take the Data 100 exam from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM PT.

If you have another conflict that directly overlaps with the main exam time, we are offering one alternate exam on Thursday, August 10th, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM PT.

If you have extenuating circumstances and would like to request an online exam, please submit the final adjustments form. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis. The online exam is only available at the scheduled time.

Final Scope

The final covers the following topics:

  • Lectures 1 through 25
  • Discussions 1 through 12
  • Labs 0 through 9
  • Homework 1 through 7
  • Projects 1 through 4

Materials only covered in the textbook are not within scope.

Final Resources

The exam is closed-book, closed-note, closed-internet, with the following exceptions:

  • You can prepare and use up to 2 two-sided letter-sized cheat sheets for the midterm. You can reuse your midterm cheat sheet for the final.
  • Cheat sheets may be handwritten or typed. However, all typed content must be typed by you. You may not include screenshots of any materials that you did not create (including, but not limited to, lecture slides, discussion worksheets, past exams).
  • On the exam, you will be provided with the 61C reference card, which includes the RISC-V reference tables, the RISC-V datapath, and an ASCII table.
