Graduate Computer Architecture

Assignments

–         This quiz will be graded and returned. The grade does not contribute to the final class grading, but serve as a class preparation to help warm up the material and give students an idea of his/her position in the whole class.

–         It’s an open-book test. Discussion is encouraged, but each student should independently complete the work.

–         Grade of homework 1 will be part of the course grade. Discussion among students is encouraged, but everyone should independently complete the work.

–         As in a graduate level course, when there are questions regarding problem solving, you are encouraged to first search for information in the class textbook, lectures, and other sources including internet. If these sources do not answer the question, you are always welcome to contact the course consultant for help.

–         Grade of homework 2 will be part of the course grade. Discussion among students is encouraged, but everyone should independently complete the work.

–         All midterm papers are posted here.

 

Homeworks and reading assignments should be submitted in electronic form by email to the course consultant, before end of day of the deadline (California time). Word format is preferred. Late homework will lose 20% credit for each day that it is late. It will get no credit if late by 5 or more days.

 


Solutions

All homework assignments will be posted on the class web. Solutions will be emailed to the students as soon as the homework submission is received.
